Range Visitors (non Q17 members): Fees and Club gun access.

SSAA Mackay welcomes new shooters and potential members to our facility, but if you need to use a Club gun, please provide at least 48 hours' notice to the Shoot Captain (SC) or Range Officer (RO) when requesting the use of Club guns.

Outside of this notice period, provision of Club guns will be entirely at the discretion of the SC or RO.

Please bring your SSAA Membership card and appropriate firearms license and sign the respective range register.

Non-licensed shooters must complete a range Form 33 and provide photo ID before shooting under the supervision of an appropriately licensed RO.

Visitors who are not SSAA Mackay members pay a $20 range fee.

Visiting SSAA Members pay a $15 range fee.

Meetings

General meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at CQU Ooralea Library Building (Building 19).
Meetings commence at 7:30pm.
The Annual General Meeting is in August prior to the monthly general meeting.
