Range Officer
Active branch members are encouraged to become Branch (Range Operator) RANGE OFFICERS.
The process entails...- Demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills as per the Range Officer Guidelines (2016)
- Must be a member of the SSAA Branch for which you are seeking appointment
- Have the required firearms licences
- Act as a ‘trainee’ RO under the supervision of an appointed Range Officer
- Record at least 24hrs as a ‘trainee’ RO within multiple disciplines
- Apply to the Branch Executive for endorsement
- SSAA Mackay Inc. covers any costs and in turn expects your assistance when required.
